Course Goal / Objective

Acquiring Knowledge and Skills Related to the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technologies in Dentistry Applications.

Course Content

Introduction: Artificial Intelligence and Dentistry Basic Artificial Intelligence Techniques and Algorithms Artificial Intelligence Applications in Dentistry Deep Learning and Artificial Neural Networks Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry and Treatment Planning Artificial Intelligence-Supported Dental Devices Ethical and Legal Issues: Use of Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry Current Research and Applications

Course Precondition

Fundamental Dentistry Knowledge: Understanding of dental practice and basic concepts. Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals: Basic knowledge of computer science, data analysis, programming, and artificial intelligence topics. Medical Information Systems and Digital Technologies: Knowledge about medical information systems, digital dentistry technologies, and digital applications in dentistry. Advanced Artificial Intelligence and Applications: Basic understanding of advanced artificial intelligence topics such as artificial intelligence algorithms, machine learning, deep learning, and artificial neural networks. Current Developments in Dentistry: Awareness of current technological and scientific developments in dental practice.
