Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach water sampling and conservation techniques for determining the physico-chemical and biological characteristics of water, analysis methods, comparison of methods with each other, the criterias for selecting methods.

Course Content

Sample types and selecting stations, Insturements and features which used in sampling, Water sampling, presarvation, Chemicals, insturements and basic operations used, Analysis errors, Method selection considerations, calibration of pH meter, salinometer and oxygenmeter, Gravimetric analysis methods, Titrimetric Analysis Methods, indicators, Spectrochemical Methods, AAS Methods.
