Course Goal / Objective
In this course, it is aimed for the student to learn the principles and methods of different theories in the field of psychotherapy, which have carried out specific studies on addiction, in order to carry out psychosocial treatment studies in the field of addiction. Considering the perspectives of the theories on addiction, it is aimed to make analyzes on case studies.
Course Content
In this course, cognitive behavioral therapy in addiction, schema therapy, solution focused therapy, reality therapy, narrative therapy, positive psychotherapy, adlerian therapy, existential therapy, problem solving therapy, quality of life therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, motivational therapy, exercise therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and gestalt therapy approaches, case formulations, therapy methods and techniques will be covered.
