Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this lecture is to be able to create an awareness of the student about the wounds, the spesifics and charecteristics of the wounds and their mechanisms, the complications of the wounds and understanding and reasoning of them and evaluating these cases properly and informing about the related legal aspects.
Course Content
Understanding and Evaluation of the Blunt traumas, stabbings and sharp injuries, firearm injuries and their mechanisms, complications. Understanding the Wound healing, estimating the wound ages laboratory methods reliability of the methods, antemortem-postmortem wounds. Discussions of the traumas. Related legal issues. Trauma related articles of the Turkish Criminal Law and Criminal Code Law and discussions. Related supreme court desicions.
