Course Goal / Objective

To give information about the types and working methods of pumps and compressors.

Course Content

Pumping systems, pumping terminology, centrifugal pumps, impeller and turbine pumps, rotary pumps, piston pumps, dosing pumps, special purpose pumps, shaft seals and pump seals, maintenance of pumps, pump assembly, application areas of compressed air systems, basic features of compressed air systems, compressors, positive displacement compressors, dynamic compressors, compressor selection, compressed air tanks, compressed air dryers, and filters, energy recovery systems in compressors, compressed air conditioning.
