Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to enhance the English language proficiency of Radio, Cinema, and Television students at a lower-intermediate level (B1) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Additionally, it seeks to equip students with fundamental vocabulary, terminology, linguistic structures, and domain-specific knowledge relevant to their prospective careers. Accordingly, students are expected to develop the specified language skills and gain proficiency in professional terminology.
Course Content
This course covers English grammar structures as well as reading passages, authentic texts, visuals, and video materials that include terminology and language use practices related to Journalism, Photography, the Internet, Radio, TV, and Cinema.
Course Precondition
Students are required to have A2 level and beyond it.
