Course Goal / Objective

This course is dedicated to understanding how social scientists and students in related disciplines analyse, interpret, and make sense of the social world.

Course Content

The theoretical foundations and concepts of research in social sciences will be discussed and the differences between quantitative and qualitative research paradigms will be questioned. In addition to the design, assumptions and questions of the research, data collection techniques and analysis used in research in the field of social sciences in general and in the field of communication in particular are among the topics to be examined.
