Course Goal / Objective

Researches the basic issues related to the structure of hospital management and the establishment of clinical engineering units in hospitals and new methods used in the follow-up of medical devices.

Course Content

Advanced topics related to the concept of a Clinical Engineer in Biomedical Engineering and the duties of a clinical engineer. Basic issues related to the structure of hospital management and the establishment of clinical engineering units in hospitals. New methods used in archiving and tracking of medical devices. Advanced topics in computer software review, calibration and medical device management.
