Course Goal / Objective

Main objective is to teach modelling, analysis and basic design criteria for mechatronic systems which work in compliance with human musculoskelelatal units.

Course Content

Introduction to Bio-Mechatronics. Components of mechatronic systems and models. Kinematic and dynamic analysis in mechatronic structures. Human neuro- muscular system. Modelling and analysis methods in kinesiology. Motion and force control methods. Application of intelligent control techniques to bio-mechatronic systems.
