Course Goal / Objective

The aim of the course is to teach students the basic concepts of genetics and to give information about current developments in the field of biotechnology and to explain the related fields and topics.

Course Content

Introduction and description of the content related to genetics course, genetic events, basic principles of mendelism, physical lineage between generations, lineage, fragment exchange, sex-linked genes, multiple alleles, gene concept, mutations, population genetics, general information about genetics laboratory, current developments in biotechnology.
