Course Goal / Objective

To give general information about methods of obtaining shallow seismic data and to teach the interpretation and analysis of shallow seismic data

Course Content

The purpose of seismic method and the differentiation of underground structures with this method, Investigation of oil and natural gas resources at sea level, Analysis of single-beam and multi-beam bathymetric data, Types of seismic sources (Uniboom, Sparker, Echo Sounding) and differences between them, Obtaining seismic data, Sea floor reflection data, analysis and interpretation of acoustic data
