Course Goal / Objective

This course is designed to teach basic principles of chemistry for engineering students.

Course Content

This course covers the basic knowledge on atomic theory, stoichiometry, the chemical and physical properties of matter, the electronic structure of atoms, chemical bonding, molecular geometry, gases, liquids, solids, chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, chemical thermodynamics, electrochemistry and nuclear chemistry.
