Course Goal / Objective
By discussing natural sedative and anesthetic molecules, learning about their extraction from plants, their usage areas, their roles in fish welfare and their mechanisms of action.
Course Content
Discussing the molecules and effects of plants that have demonstrated sedative and anesthetic effects through experimental studies, such as clove oil, lavender oil, peppermint oil and thyme oil, which can be used in situations such as capturing, transporting, milking and vaccinating aquatic creatures. In addition, explaining the mechanisms of action of these molecules
