Course Goal / Objective

To have knowledge of assisted reproductive technologies and processes.

Course Content

Embryology laboratory tools and equipments, culture mediums used in human embryo development, ethical and legal protocols, quality control in IVF laboratory, spermatogenesis, diagnostic protocols in male inferility and sperm preparing techniques, oogenesis, oocyte pick up process, evaluation of oocyte morphology and in vitro oocyte maturation, conventional in vitro fertilization, micromanipulation and intracytoplasmic sperm injection processes, evaluation of embryo quality and embryo selection criterions, embryo transfer protocols, cryopreservation and preimplantation genetic diagnose.
