Course Goal / Objective

To teach the flow structure in the cardiovascular system and the interaction of the structural elements and fluid motion. To teach the design and application fundamentals of prostheses used in the cardiovascular system.

Course Content

Fundamentals of fluid mechanics, blood rheology, cardiovascular system and its elements, related equations and solutions
