Course Goal / Objective
Historical and current information about the art of original printmaking is given theoretically and practically through examples; Based on the designs created for printmaking techniques, it is aimed to carry out creative and original application works by using the technical possibilities of printmaking art.
Course Content
By examining the historical development of original printmaking art, its periods, artists and works through examples, it is possible to understand the interaction of today's printmaking art with contemporary art disciplines. They are enabled to create creative and original application works by using the technical possibilities of printmaking art through designs created for printmaking techniques. This process; It contains theoretical and practical information about collage technique, stencil printing, mono printing, linoleum printing, woodblock printing and engraving techniques.
