Course Goal / Objective
It is aimed to provide competencies regarding the basic principles of first aid, basic life support, first aid for injuries, first aid for fractures, dislocations and sprains, first aid in medical emergencies and appropriate patient handling techniques.
Course Content
History of first aid, definition and basic principles of first aid, characteristics of first aid personnel, rescue and transport of the injured, triage, first aid in respiratory and circulatory systems, basic life support, first aid in bleeding, injuries and shock, dressings and bandages, traumas (extremity fractures). ), traumas (abdominal, head, chest injuries), medical emergencies (heart disease, dyspnea, diabetes, acute abdomen, loss of consciousness, epilepsy, substance abuse, pediatric emergencies), burns, electric shocks, heat strokes, frostbite, drownings First aid in disaster situations, poisonings, insect stings, civil defense and nuclear warfare.
