Course Goal / Objective
1. To introduce numerical methods to the student and to give information about their application areas in engineering 2. To gain the ability to apply numerical methods in the solution of engineering problems 3. To give the student the ability to apply the knowledge they have acquired in engineering courses (strength, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, etc.) and in working life.
Course Content
Solution methods of linear equation sets. Solution methods of nonlinear equations and equation sets. Interpolation. Function placement. Numerical derivative and integral. Numerical solution methods of ordinary and partial differential equations.

Having basic knowledge of mathematics and statistics
