Course Goal / Objective

The objective of this course, it is aimed to teach new drug development strategies, biomolecules and design and synthesis strategies of bioactive therapeutic molecules that can be drug active ingredients.

Course Content

Molecular Modeling in drug design,Stages of Drug Development,Computer Aided Drug Design (CADDs).Drug active incredients and Properties of bioactive compounds,Combinatorial chemistry,High-throughput screening(HTS) and Quantitave structurc-activity relationship (QSAR) in drug discovery.Biomolecules and biosynthesis strategies,proteins,enzymes,nucleic acids,ribopshophoramides and oligoribonucleotides.Biosensors, Development of therapeutic molecules in molecular biology,lead compounds,Synthetic methods for preparation of drug active biactive molecules,synthesis of analogues, semi-synthetic strategies,biosyntheses and full syntheses.
