Course Goal / Objective

To provide basic knowledge and understanding of occupational health in the transportation sector, and to teach the necessary precautions and occupational health management strategies to ensure that individuals working in the sector work in a safe work environment.

Course Content

The course will cover occupational health problems encountered in transportation systems, prevention of occupational accidents, establishment of a safety culture in the workplace, workplace risk assessments and issues related to protecting the occupational health of employees. In addition, case studies and solution suggestions regarding occupational health risks encountered by employees in various transportation systems (such as road, rail, sea, air) will be discussed.
