Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to provide theoretical information and practice on working techniques in biotechnology laboratories and biotechnological methods used in plants.
Course Content
536 / 5.000 This course covers the explanation of the concepts of biotechnology, plant biotechnology, in vitro culture, introduction of the equipment of the biotechnology laboratory, nutrient media used in in vitro culture, preparation of macro and micro element stock solutions, preparation of growth regulator and vitamin stock solutions, sterilization principles of glassware and metal materials, preparation of nutrient media, sterilization of plant material, embryo culture, anther culture, DNA isolation, PCR analysis.
