Course Goal / Objective

Examining and learning the main lines of Islamic culture and civilization, which were formed in the areas where Islam spread from the birth of Islam to the present day - mainly until the establishment of the Ottoman State.

Course Content

After specifying the sources and spread of Islamic civilization, the political, administrative, social and economic developments in the areas where Islam spread, education, thought, science and art, the relationship and interaction with the surrounding cultures and civilizations and their effects on Europe are taken into consideration. will be discussed in general terms.
