Course Goal / Objective

*What are the processes of cell growth and differentiation, *What is atrophy, explaining its macroscopic and microscopic findings, *What are the differences between the pathological findings of hypertrophy and hyperplasia? *What are the factors affecting cell differentiation? *What are the developmental disorders (anomaly), what are the exogenous and endogenous factors * Types of anomalies, * Understanding and defining the characteristics of twinning anomalies and what they are is the aim of the course.

Course Content

Cell growth disorders and anomalies will be discussed. Handling hyperplasia, atrophy and similar changes in cell growth and differentiation with examples constitute the framework of this course. In this context, first of all, the morphology of anomalies, their causes, determination of anatomical and pathological inadequacies, and gaining experience on how to name anomalies will be provided by this course.
