Course Goal / Objective

*What the antigen-antibody is and its storage in the laboratory environment *Antigen-antibody reactions *What are the basic histochemistry and immunohistochemistry methods, *Providing skills about what is PCR WB, ELISA and how to do it.

Course Content

Antigen and antibody structure, material preparation and storage, laboratory use and basic histochemistry and immunohistochemistry procedures. Types and usage areas of electron microscope, working principles of electron microscopes, preparation of tissue pieces for electron microscopy, fixation methods in electron microscopy, tissue tracking, embedding methods, obtaining thin sections, staining methods, examination in electron microscope, evaluation of electron microscopic photographs, PCR, WB, ELISA.
