Course Goal / Objective
* To decide what necropsy is, where it is done, and which method to choose according to the species, * Evaluate what death is, what death certificates are, and whether death is shaped by this information, * Evaluation of the disease by evaluating the macroscopic appearance of organs and lesions, * It gives the ability to diagnose what types of diagnosis are and how to diagnose according to which method.
Course Content
General principles and techniques to be applied in necropsy of large and small ruminants, carnivores and equids, poultry and experimental animals, as well as the principles of sampling and sending samples from the necropsied animal will be given. Necropsy in zoonotic and infectious diseases and principles of sampling and sending will be emphasized.
