Course Goal / Objective

This course focuses on the physiopathology of the most common diseases that impair cell, organ and system functions. In this course, students are taught the basic physiopathological mechanisms that occur at the cell level. The symptoms and findings presented with sample cases, the deterioration in organ and system functions are discussed with questions that include cause-effect relationships. The student is given the ability to question and analyze the physiopathological changes in clinical situations and to reach synthesis by using the factual/conceptual knowledge he has acquired.
