Course Goal / Objective

In particular, it is aimed to determine the resistance mechanism in insecticides in order to prevent diseases transmitted by insecticides and to learn the physical or chemical methods to be taken against them, and to determine the methods of struggle against them by learning the properties and action mechanisms of insecticides in chemical methods.

Course Content

Classification of Pesticides. Insecticides and Classification of Insecticides. Natural and Synthetic Compounds. Metabolism of Pesticides. Harmful effects of Insecticides. Resistance mechanism developed against Insecticides. Determination of kdr resistance and mechanism in insects. Determination of metabolic resistance and mechanism.
