Course Goal / Objective

To teach the students general pharmacology including pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.

Course Content

Introduction to pharmacology, transition of drugs from biological membranes and absorption of drugs, routes of drug administration, distribution of drugs, biotransformation of drugs, elimination of drugs, action mechanism of drugs, interactions between drugs, pharmacogenetics
