Course Goal / Objective
To learn about pain and pain theories and drugs used in pain treatment and to learn experimental models.
Course Content
Experimental models of pain and experimental alcohol models are examined Pain, pain theories, concepts related to pain and analgesia, pain transmission, pain-related endogenous substances, pain pathways, drugs used in pain treatment, mechanisms of action and side effects.
