Course Goal / Objective
'Pharmacological Approach to Phytotherapy' course aims to inform students about pharmacological approaches to phytotherapy.
Course Content
Introduction to phytotherapy, the place and importance of pharmacology in herbal treatment approaches, phytopharmacology, molecular pharmacology methods used in the investigation of the mechanisms of action of phytotherapeutic agents, bioactive molecules and mechanisms of action in medicinal plants used in phytotherapy, pharmacological evaluation of medicinal plants used as folk remedies, new R&D studies in phytotherapy.
