Course Goal / Objective

Within the scope of this course, it is aimed that the student will have a general knowledge and equipment about nanopharmacology.

Course Content

Nanopharmacology-Introduction, Importance of nanobiotechnology in nanopharmacology, Drug targeting strategies, Targeting with nanocarrier systems, Role of aptamers in targeted transport of nanostructures, Role of specific antibodies in targeted transport of nanostructures, Role of receptors in targeted transport of nanostructures, Specific targeting ligands, Nanoparticles used in drug therapy and diagnostics-I, Nanoparticles used in drug therapy and diagnostics-II, Pharmacodynamics of nano drugs, Pharmacokinetics of nano drugs, Nano drug R&D Studies-I, Nano drug R&D Studies-II
