Course Goal / Objective

Students will be able to explain the pharmacokinetic properties, mechanisms of action, use in treatment, side effects, contraindications and interactions of chemotherapeutics.

Definition of chemotherapy, main principles of chemotherapy, pharmacokinetic properties of chemotherapeutics, mechanism of action, side effects, therapeutic uses, contraindications and drug interactions
