Course Goal / Objective
To educate nurses who can use the basic knowledge, concepts and principles of public health nursing in line with the health needs of the society, the health care system of the country and the philosophy of our college, and who develop, maintain and protect the health of individuals, community groups and society from diseases by taking on professional nursing roles at every stage of health and illness.
Course Content
This course focuses on the basic concepts and theories of public health and public health nursing science; Focuses on protecting and developing the health of individuals, families and community groups. It introduces roles and functions specific to the basic practice areas of the public health nurse (family, school, workplace, elderly care and home care).
