Course Goal / Objective
To train nurses who can use the basic knowledge, concepts and principles of public health nursing in line with the health needs of the society, the country's health care system and the philosophy of our School, and who develop, maintain and protect the health of individuals, community groups and society from diseases by taking on professional nursing roles at every stage of health and illness.
Course Content
This course, in line with the basic concepts and theories of public health and public health nursing science; focuses on protecting and improving the health of individuals, families and community groups. Introduces the roles and functions of the public health nurse specific to the main areas of practice (family, school, workplace, elderly care and home care).
