Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to show students hydrothermal and solvothermal synthesis techniques and to introduce the areas where this method is used.

Course Content

In this course, the terms of hydrothermal and solvothermal synthesis, amorphous and crystalline concepts, hydrothermal and solvothermal syntheses of inorganic compounds, the importance of single crystal X-ray diffraction in hydro/solvothermal synthesis are explained.
