Course Goal / Objective

It is the ability to select and apply statistical analyses that can be applied to data obtained from various studies.

Course Content

Data types, sources, data collection methods in the field of occupational health and safety. Principles of survey creation/application and statistical evaluation of the obtained data. Calculation of descriptive statistics with the help of package programs. Creating graphics (bar, line, histogram, box, relationship graphs etc.) and interpretation. Selection of the appropriate hypothesis test for the obtained data. Application and interpretation of selected parametric and nonparametric tests. Occupational safety applications of statistical methods with the help of computer-aided statistical package programs.
