Course Goal / Objective

It aims to teach the correct and effective application of materials used in heat, water, sound and fire insulation in order to increase the performance of buildings. It is aimed for students to gain the skills to read insulation details, make material selection and develop solutions to technical problems that they may encounter in field applications. The course is supported by practical content and contributes to students' implementation of insulation applications in accordance with occupational health and safety rules.

Course Content

It covers the introduction and application methods of materials to meet the heat, water, sound and fire insulation requirements of buildings. The course covers the basic principles of insulation systems, application details, compliance with standards and material-selection criteria. In addition, application problems encountered in different types of buildings, solution suggestions and field application techniques are emphasized. The content supported by applied examples aims to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
