Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide a detailed examination of the limbic system structures and the organization formed by this system. It is aimed for students to know the anatomical and functional properties of the limbic system, to explain the anatomical basis of limbic system lesions in clinical cases and to interpret the relevant literature.

Course Content

The course aims to distinguish the basic structure of the limbic system, the anatomical structures that constitute the limbic system, the functional anatomy of the limbic system, and the clinical reflections of lesions to the limbic system.

Course Precondition

There are no prerequisites for the course.

Resources

1. Current articles and online resources 2. Dere Anatomi Atlası ve Ders Kitabı 3. Dere Atlaslı Nöroanatomi ve Fonksiyonel Nöroloji

Notes

Additional readings will be assigned during the course.
