Course Goal / Objective

To provide an introduction to fluid mechanics, properties of fluids, hydrostatics of fluids, understanding of fluids kinematics and dynamics, and to teach how to solve problems on fluid mechanics.

Course Content

Definition of basic terminology; fluid, force, mass, length and force units, viscosity, other properties/ Fundamental equations of fluid motions; continuity equation, momentum equation, energy equation-Bernoulli equation.
