Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to discuss the concepts of democracy and human rights from different perspectives, to determine their importance in social and political life, to understand the difference between what should be and what is experienced, and to raise awareness especially about children's rights.

Definition and historical development of human rights and democracy; discussions on democracy, freedom and equality
