Course Goal / Objective

To teach mining law of the place of the common law, and business law practice areas of mining, mineral ownership and mineral rights, labor law implementation cases of mines, workplace safety and health rules.

Course Content

Legislation and legislation rules, The sources of legislation rules, The place of mining legislation at the civil law, Chronological history of Turkish mining law and current legal state, Considering general properties of preparing mining law, Licenses related to exploration, Pre-production and stages, Contracts on concession, Rules and legislation related to quarries, Definition of the interrelationships between mining and its environment, Premining and post-mining interaction with the environment and recultivation activities, The introduction of civil organization related to mining, Application areas of mine and labour legislation, Mine possession and mine rights, Application of labour law in mine, Ergonomics approach to health and safety, Detailed statement of current mining law and arrangement of the relevant regulations, Preparing of compulsory reports (activity reports, balance sheet atc.), Disagreements in applications of the law.
