Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to provide general information about the Central Nervous System (CNS), the sites of action of drugs in the CNS, the pharmacokinetics of drugs targeting the CNS, the principles of stimulant and depressant effects, and pharmacological information about the effects of drugs on the CNS.
Course Content
The content of this course consists of the structure of the Central Nervous System, general and local anesthetics, psychotropic drugs, sedatives and sleep-inducing drugs, centrally acting muscle relaxants, narcotic and non-narcotic painkillers, drugs that stimulate the central nervous system and drug addiction.
