Course Goal / Objective
Determining when to irrigate and how much to irrigate, Irrigation scheduling techniques will be introduced to students
Course Content
Definition of irrigation scheduling and its importance; approaches used for irrigation scheduling; soil based scheduling techniques; plant-based irrigation schedulint methods; climate-based irrigation scheduling methods; leaf water potential; canopy temperature; sap flow; stomatal conductance, surface reflection, stem diameter change methods; and their use; simulation models
