Course Goal / Objective
To inform about the production processes of ceramic materials.
Course Content
Ceramic powders: Definitions, properties, requirements; ceramic raw materials: common raw material, special inorganic chemicals. Grinding: Grinding equipment and their performances; granulation: spray drying, powder packing. Deflocculation of clays; Rheological properties and Measurements; Shaping Methods. Drying; sintering
