Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to provide students with a detailed examination of the functional anatomy of the lower extremity and to understand the relationships between muscles, nerves and joints. It is also aimed to explain the anatomical basis of lesions related to the lower extremity within the framework of clinical approaches to anatomy.
Course Content
The course includes functional anatomy of the muscles, joints and nerves of the lower extremity, the mechanism of walking and the anatomical basis of clinical disorders.
Course Precondition
There are no prerequisites for the course.
Resources
1. Current articles and online resources 2. Dere Anatomy Atlas and Textbook 3. Dere Atlas of Neuroanatomy and Functional Neurology
Notes
Additional readings will be assigned during the course.
