Course Goal / Objective

to learn understanding the basic aspects of geotechnical earthquake engineering, to provide the principles of soil dynamics and geotechnical earthquake engineering and ability to perform seismic analysis.

Seismology and Earthquakes, Earthquake Activity in Turkey, Geotechnical Earthquake Damages, Strong Ground Motion, Dynamic Soil Properties, Introduction to Liquefaction, Soil Amplification, Soil Improvement.
