Course Goal / Objective

The objective of this course is to perform a real geotechnical design using basic geotechnical knowledge.

Course Content

Design project in geotechnical engineering which may include the following topics: Shallow foundations, settlement analysis, deep foundations, stabilization of landslides, in-situ retaining structures for excavation support, embankments, ground improvement techniques.
