Course Goal / Objective

To teach the determination of wind wave parameters and the design of coastal structures

Course Content

Statistical properties of sea waves, estimation of the wind wave parameters, Currents by waves, Sediment transport in coastal region, Coastal protection structures, Breakwaters, Rouble-mound breakwaters, Vertical breakwaters, Horbour structures
