Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to introduce civil engineering students to statistical methods and enable them to apply these methods to engineering problems. Topics include probability, distributions, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
Course Content
Importance of statistics in engineering, probability theory, distributions, frequency analysis, sampling, hypothesis testing, regression and variance analysis, and computer-aided applications.
