Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach the basic concepts of surveying technique; to gain competence in geometric and trigonometric leveling, area and polygon coordinate calculations; to teach the use of basic equipment (level and theodolite) used in topography measurements and to develop teamwork skills.

Course Content

This course consists of basic concepts of surveying, geometric and trigonometric leveling, surface leveling, longitudinal sections, area calculation methods, vertical coordinate system, polygon points and calculations and field applications.
